nGauge AFM featured on Material Science YouTube Channel Breaking Taps

June 6, 2021

We’re excited to announce we’re working with Breaking Taps – a science YouTube channel that replicates material science experiments in a garage workshop.

In the first video, Zach from Breaking Taps builds a giant “macro AFM” to demonstrate how atomic force microscopy works.

In the second part of the video, he uses the nGauge AFM to scan various samples: tungsten carbide insert, a piece of ablated aluminum, and a gage block.
